Like many people, our team experienced the frustration of splitting bills manually. Whether it was dividing restaurant checks, managing roommate expenses, or tracking vacation costs, the process was always more complicated than it needed to be.
Existing solutions either required everyone to create accounts, charged premium fees for basic features, or were overly complicated for simple splitting scenarios. We saw an opportunity to build something better.

Ishwar is a senior software engineer who enjoys building projects that help people. With over 8 years of experience in software development, he has worked with multiple companies across the fintech and technology sectors.
Throughout his career, Ishwar has worked at companies like Intuit, PayPal, Cleartrip, and Simpl, gaining deep expertise in financial technology and user-centric product development. He has also founded his own company, WishGee, where he employed a team and built solutions from the ground up.
His passion for creating tools that simplify everyday problems led to the creation of BillSplittingApp—a project born from real-world frustrations with existing expense-splitting solutions.
